Lake area tech is a very young campus, I was recently looking into Mitchell tech and the difference between the two is amazing! To me Lake Area is all about getting you into the right careeer for you and making sure you succeed! The staff at lake area is super friendly and always ready to help Read 75 Reviews. Triangle tech in my opinion is a great school not only will they help you with free tutoring but make a point to know you by name and to feel like a family. My technicial classes have been great and I look forward to going to school every day.
I think I made a great choice in schooling and they will help pave a path to my career Read 4 Reviews. I liked how the instructors really try to give you the essential one-on-one time that you need, especially if you are struggling. I love the campus. NICC is compact, easy to navigate, and very organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the educators are exceptional, and I feel like my first degree at NICC was a worth while investment in my career.
The parking lot is very large, but during busy spouts finding a parking place is difficult. The college does not offer housing. The intermural sports are scarce, but the social activities are very abundant. NICC offers a lot of great opportunities by having different recruiters visit the campus, and by offering a free learning center for enrolled students.
This is a Technical trade school. I attended LPN school at this institution and I really enjoyed my learning experience. I felt this school really prepared me for boards and genuinely cared about whether I passed or failed. Instructors are patient and willing to go that extra mile to teach you.
Campus is fun and students are easy to get along with. I like the fact that of you fail a test you have to go for coaching. Where they try to pinpoint why you failed the test and then they give you testing strategies. I do like the school very much it is very extensive compared to the the two other schools I went to. I feel the classes coincide with each other. I can be in one class and say oh we touched this topic yesterday in another class.
My experience at Mitchell Technical Institute has been great. I am so glad I choose a Technical school instead of a university back when I was trying to plan for my future. I think a lot of the time Technical schools get looked over by many students when planning of college after high school. At Mitchell Tech, students are immediately dropped into the academics that are related to their career choice. That aspect about Mitchell Tech is something I think is great because right away from the beginning, students are being educated on what they need to know that directly relates to the career they want to build.
The dorms are also close to the school so it makes for faster transit. Not only is the campus small but the town is small too which means it's easy to find places like stores and restaurants.
Everyone is kind here and it's a good place to find new friends. Again, if you're scared of going to a larger school, this is a good place to start out with!
My overall experience at Northwest Vista was great! I spent an entire year of college here and made straight A's the entire time. The professors truly care about you and do everything in their power to make the information being taught to you as clear as possible.
The library is a great place to study at, or even if you just need something printed out. I used their printers almost every day it is only 5 cents a copy. There are several tutoring services available and writing centers for any help needed with essays.
I truly enjoyed going to this college, and learned so much while I was here! Southwestern Assemblies of God University is the type of place where you just feel right at home and welcomed as soon as you arrive.
The students as well as the faculty go out of their way to help others when they need it. One of the best parts of living on campus is the dorm life. Upon reading this, you may seem a bit skeptical seeing as how its an "Assemblies of God" campus which in your mind is summed up as "reserved, strict, and overall an anti-'good time' living.
Living on a small campus may seem to some as a disadvantage, but it enables you to become familiar with almost everyone on the campus which can have several benefits. The professors at Alvin are all really good! They definitely care about each student and help them to succeed. Plus there are tons of events on campus each month and a few different organizations to get involved in. Overall, this was a great place to spend my first year of college.
I like how close it is to home and how easy it is to register for classes as well as how easy it is to talk to an advisors. Professors will do whatever they can to make sure that students do good. One improvement that WCJC can work on is the student parking lot which gets worse throughout the semesters. Other than that, WCJC is a great community college to attend! I love going to San Jac because everyone there is just so helpful. The professors are just so amazing. Its a great place to start your education.
It is also ranked number 5 nation wide for community colleges which is just so awesome! I recieved a scholarship from San Jac that has paid for my full 2 years. This has just really helped my family and self out with financial burdens. San Jac is a well rounded community college and I would reccomend for anyone to attend school there. My experience is one of a kind , its a new scene for me but I will get adjusted to the school overall I like the workflow.
My experience at McLennan Community College has been like no other. I came in as a transfer students and the staff and falculty helped me every step of the way with not only just financial aid and classes but support and guidance. McLennan is a great start off school with plenty of opportunities into university, including their joint programs with Tarleton and Texas Tech. McLennan has more than enough great things to offer and not just academically. I loved the environment there and the student life was very active!
There were plenty of student activities and educational events constantly going on especially with community involvement. Also, some of the best professors you'll ever have the honor of meeting! Everything in tstc is going amazing. The food, safety, and the staff are just great! The campus is always clean and very kept that way.
